In 2004, encouraged by her family, Lynn Ashton transferred her culinary delights from her home kitchen into the old fruit and veg shop on 2 New Lane. With only bare essentials, she soon built up an army of loyal customers. ​ In 2009, having served in the RAF, Met and Lancashire police, Lynn's eldest daughter Emma was looking for a new challenge and agreed to take on a business development role. ​ Today, Butties2Go serves just under 1000 'Butties' a week and regularly caters for the Preston and Penwortham area by delivering Buffets and Business Lunches.
